弁天台場（べんてんだいば）は、江戸時代末期（幕末）に北海道函館市に設営された台場。弁天岬台場、弁天砲台とも。設計者は武田斐三郎。
概要

周囲390間余（約710m）、不等辺六角形で、上から見ると将棋の駒のような形をしていた。総面積は11,611坪（約383,000m2）、高さ37尺（約11.2m）の石垣をもつ土塁2,350尺（約780m）で囲まれていた。東南端にはトンネル式通路のアーチ型入口を構えていた。砲眼15門(60斤砲2、24斤砲13門）を装備し、その中にはエフィム・プチャーチン搭乗のロシア艦ディアナ号のものもあったといわれている。土石は主に函館山より切り出し、大手門などの重要な部分には、大坂から運んだ備前御影石を用いたといわれる。工事は松川弁之助が請け負い、翌年から井上喜三郎がこれを引き継いだ。
歴史

江戸幕府が安政3年（1856年）から文久3年（1863年）にかけて、外国船襲来に備えて箱館湾沖に建設した。

しかし実際に使用されたのは箱館戦争という内戦においてだった。箱館戦争終盤の箱館湾海戦において、新選組が中心となった旧幕府軍はこの台場にたてこもり奮闘したが、箱館市内が新政府軍によって占領され孤立。明治2年（1869年）5月15日、本陣五稜郭に先立って弁天台場は新政府軍に降伏した。

明治30年頃に取り壊され、現在は函館どつく入口前に碑が建つのみとなっている。なお使われていた石材は函館漁港の護岸に使用されている。
