布袋 寅泰（ほてい ともやす、1962年2月1日 - ）は、日本のロックミュージシャン、ギタリスト[5]。元BOOWY、COMPLEXのメンバー。現妻は歌手の今井美樹。元妻は歌手の山下久美子。

群馬県高崎市江木町出身[6]。ロンドン在住[7]。BOOWY時代のビーイング、O-con' nection[注釈 1]、ユイ音楽工房、BOOWY解散後のIRc2 CORPORATION[8]を経て、渡英後はDADA MUSICに所属[注釈 2]。身長187cm。
来歴

1981年、BOOWYのギタリストとしてデビュー。BOOWY解散後はソロ活動の他、吉川晃司とのユニット・COMPLEX、他ミュージシャンへの楽曲提供など幅広く活動している。またレコーディングではギターだけでなく、ベース、ドラムス、キーボードなども演奏する。

また、「HOTEI」名義でイギリス、ドイツなど欧州でアルバムをリリースしている。イギリスのロックバンド、ジーザス・ジョーンズと親交があり、ジョイントツアーも行った。

映画やCMへの出演など、俳優・タレントとしての活動も行っており、テレビ出演もBOOWYの元メンバーの中では一番積極的に行っている。

「最新のHOTEIが最高のHOTEI」がモットー（ポルシェ社のキャッチコピーから）。過去の愛車はトヨタのアルファード、AMGのE63T、シボレーのエクスプレスバン、アストンマーティンのV8ヴァンテージ、ポルシェ、ベントレーなどを使用しており、2012年のロンドン移住後はBMWのミニクーパーを愛用している。

A-ROCK本選会にてアイディア賞を受賞[9]し、17歳（高校3年時に中退後）の時に上京。
