山県市（やまがたし）は、岐阜県にある市。旧美濃国（岐阜県南部）の中央よりやや西寄りで、岐阜市の北側にあり、岐阜地区に位置づけられる。
地理円原の伏流水
山県市南部、市役所のある高富地区は緩やかな盆地状の地形で濃尾平野の周辺部にあたる。北中部は越美山地の南東端で山がちな地形となっており、標高20メートルの平地から1,200メートル級の山岳部までの変化に富んでいる。
