山本 潤子（やまもと じゅんこ、旧姓：新居 潤子、1949年12月30日 - ）は、日本の歌手・シンガーソングライター。

奈良県吉野郡天川村生まれ、大阪市阿倍野区出身。葱の花オフィス所属。

山本が携わったグループの代表曲として「翼をください」（作詞:山上路夫、作曲:村井邦彦、歌:赤い鳥）、「卒業写真」（作詞・作曲:荒井由実、歌:ハイ・ファイ・セット）などがある。アルファサウンドの決定版はハイ・ファイ・セットであり、特に好きなアルバムは「フィーリング」も収録された「ラブ・コレクション」、山本潤子は偉大な歌手であり心底ほれ込んでいると村井は書いている[1]。

「翼をください」は約30年以上にわたり小学校の音楽の教科書に採用され、その後も合唱曲として有名。
来歴

4人姉妹（長姉は8歳上、次姉は6歳上、三姉は4歳上）の末っ子として生まれた。父は呉服店を営んでいた。生後半年で父親の実家がある大阪市阿倍野区に転居、大学2年まで暮らした。南大阪幼稚園、苗代小学校、阿倍野中学校、帝塚山高校を経て、帝塚山大学卒業。

大阪市の阿倍野の歩道橋上で、当時すでにロック・キャンディーズで活動していた谷村新司に声をかけられ、「ヒルビリー・シンガーズ」のボーカルとなったが3ヶ月しか続かなかった。高校2年生の時、ピーター・ポール&マリーのコピーバンドを結成。親衛隊があった[2]。

1969年、後藤悦治郎、平山泰代、山本俊彦、大川茂とともにフォークソンググループ「赤い鳥」を結成。同年、第3回「ヤマハ・ライト・ミュージック・コンテスト」全国大会にて「竹田の子守唄」を歌いグランプリを獲得。第2位のオフコースなどを抑えての優勝。
