尖閣諸島（せんかくしょとう）は、東シナ海の南西部にある島嶼群（とうしょぐん）[7]。石垣島北方約130から150キロメートル、北緯25度43分から56分、東経123度27分から124度34分の海域に点在する[8]。尖閣列島（せんかくれっとう）ともいう。
日本が一貫して実効支配しているが、中華人民共和国（中国）および中華民国（台湾）もそれぞれ領有権を主張している。「尖閣諸島」および「尖閣列島」は日本における呼称であり、中国では釣魚群島[9]あるいは釣魚島およびその付属島嶼[10][11]、台湾では釣魚臺列嶼[12]と呼ばれている。詳しくは尖閣諸島問題を参照。

尖閣諸島は魚釣島、北小島、南小島、久場島、大正島、沖の北岩、沖の南岩、飛瀬などで構成される[11]。総面積は約5.56平方キロメートル[11]。日本人居住者がいた時期もあったが、1940年（昭和15年）ごろ以降はいずれも無人島となっている[11]。節内の全座標を示した地図 - OSM

日本政府は日本名の魚釣島、北小島、南小島、久場島、大正島、沖の北岩、沖の南岩、飛瀬という名称について地方公共団体が調査した地元で呼ばれているものを使用しているとしている[13]。また、久場島を指す「黄尾嶼（こうびしょ）」や大正島を指す「赤尾嶼（せきびしょ）」という呼称も「我が国において従来から使用されてきているもの」としている[13]。
なお、2012年（平成24年）1月16日、日本政府は排他的経済水域（英語: Exclusive Economic Zone、略称:EEZ）の基点となるにもかかわらず名称が不明であった離島について、地元自治体などに呼称を照会したうえで、同年3月末までに命名する方針を示し[14]、3月2日には名称が決定した[15]。この中には尖閣諸島近海の4島が含まれており、このうち久場島付近にある3島は北西小島、北小島、北東小島、大正島付近にある1島は北小島と名付けられた[15]。この結果、本諸島には計3つの北小島が存在することになった。
中国政府は各島に釣魚島、北小島、南小島、黄尾嶼、赤尾嶼などの名称を使用している[13]。
おもな島と岩礁は以下のとおり。面積と最高標高はそれぞれ沖縄県[16] と海上自衛隊[17] が作成した資料による。中国・中華民国名はそれぞれ日本の新字体表記に変換してある。
