小山田 圭吾（おやまだ けいご、1969年1月27日 - ）は、日本のミュージシャンである。1989年にフリッパーズ・ギターのメンバーとしてデビュー[4]。1991年の解散後、約2年のブランクを経て、1993年よりソロユニットCornelius（コーネリアス）として活動[5]。第51回グラミー賞「最優秀サラウンド・サウンド・アルバム」ノミネートアーティスト[6]。

和田弘とマヒナスターズの三原さと志の長男として、東京に生まれる。
外祖父は『紅白音楽試合』（『NHK紅白歌合戦』の前身番組）、『第1回NHK紅白歌合戦』、『第2回NHK紅白歌合戦』で総合司会を担当した元NHKアナウンサーの田辺正晴[7]。
版画家の中林忠良は義理の叔父（父方の叔母の夫）[8]。田辺靖雄は母方の叔父。ベンチャーキャピタリストである伊藤穰一とは、はとこに当たる[9]。また、イギリスのロックバンドのLushのヴォーカル、ミキ・ベレーニともはとこに当たるほか、永積崇ともはとこに当たる。（ミキ・ベレーニと永積崇はいとこ同士である。）
父母が離婚していたため、2006年に父が他界するまで父方親族との交流はなかったが、父の死をきっかけに小山田家のことをいろいろ知るようになった」と語っている[8]。
学校法人和光学園 和光小学校、和光中学校・高等学校卒業[10]。
セツ・モードセミナーに通う傍ら、中学校の同級生であった小沢健二らと共にフリッパーズ・ギターを結成しメジャーデビュー。解散後、しばしの期間を経て小山田圭吾によるソロプロジェクトCorneliusとして音楽活動を再開する。
活動初期から中期かけての楽曲においては、手法としてサンプリングの採用、テルミンを用いる演奏、HDDによる多重録音、ヘヴィメタルへの傾倒と新解釈、シンセサイザーを前に出した演奏、ハーモニー効果の模索、サウンド・エンジニアリングの創意工夫等が施された作品を発表している。また音楽プロデューサーとしても多くのミュージシャンの活動に貢献している。
さらに1992年よりレコードレーベル「トラットリア (Trattoria Records)」を主宰する。その活動は、作品発表の場を求めるミュージシャンと新たな音楽を求める聴衆の掛け橋として機能した。小規模のレーベルによる作品の頒布はそれまでにも存在したが、このレーベルは新しい潮流の軽音楽を、単に一部の熱狂的な聴衆に提供するにとどまらず、全国の一般的な聴衆に広く頒布することを可能にした。
