安芸高田市長（あきたかたしちょう）は、広島県安芸高田市の首長である。市長の石丸は安芸高田市議会議長宛てに、2024年6月9日付けで辞職するとの「退職申出書」を提出[1][2][3]。5月22日、広島県安芸高田市選挙管理委員会は、石丸の市長辞職に伴う市長選の日程を6月30日告示、7月7日投開票と決めた[4][5]。6月10日から開かれる予定の安芸高田市議会6月定例会には米村公男副市長が職務代理者を務める[6][7]。
概要

安芸高田市は2004年3月1日に 高田郡吉田町、八千代町、美土里町、高宮町、甲田町、向原町が合併（新設合併）合併して発足した市である。合併に伴い、関係市町村長が失職することに伴う市長職務執行者は、美土里町長であった織田邦夫が就任した。

合併に伴う初代市長選挙は、高宮町長であった児玉更太郎が無投票で当選。
