TRICERATOPS（トライセラトップス）は、日本のスリーピース・ロックバンド [1]。略称はトライセラ。所属事務所は TRINITY ARTIST。
経歴

1995年10月、和田唱が友人の紹介で出会った林幸治と曲作りを始める [3]。翌年2月に知人を介して吉田佳史と出会い、セッションで意気投合したことからTRICERATOPSの結成に至った [3]。同年の5月に初デモテープのレコーディング、7月に渋谷La.mamaで初ライブを行う [3]。

1997年にbounce recordsよりミニ・アルバム『TRICERATOPS』のリリースを経て、同年7月にシングル「Raspberry」でエピックレコードジャパンよりメジャーデビュー [3]。

デビュー当初は渡辺ミキが代表を務めるワタナベエンターテインメント傘下のマニア・マニアがマネジメントを行なっていたが、同社が芸能スクールワタナベエデュケーショングループに改組された事に伴い、関連会社として2005年に新設されたTRINITY ARTISTに移籍。現在もワタナベエンターテインメント系列に所属。

デビューからの音楽プロデューサーは、元渡辺音楽出版の敏腕プロデューサーで沢田研二・山下久美子・吉川晃司らを手掛けた木崎賢治が担当。木崎が手掛けるBUMP OF CHICKENはメジャー・デビュー前のTRICERATOPSのイベントで対バンした際に木崎に見初められデビューに至った。

1999年、シングル「GOING TO THE MOON」がポカリスエットのCMに使用されると、バンドの知名度が一気にアップし、同作はオリコンシングルチャートのトップ5にランクイン。同年発売アルバム『A FILM ABOUT THE BLUES』もバンド最大のヒットを記録、同アルバムのツアーファイナルで初の日本武道館公演を行った。

2002年、レーベルをビクターエンタテインメントに移籍。ビクター在籍中にシングル9枚、オリジナル・アルバム4枚、ライブ・アルバム1枚を発表する。

2008年、レーベルをtearbridge recordsに移籍。
