刀根 麻理子（とね まりこ、1962年〈昭和37年〉3月3日[1] - ）は、日本の歌手・女優・エッセイスト。本名：刀根 万里子（読み同じ）。誠実屋所属。

神奈川県川崎市出身[2]。川崎市立川崎高等学校卒業[2]。

歌手活動の傍ら“野原 花子”のペンネームで、演歌や子供向けの楽曲を手掛ける。
経歴

中学2年生の時からクラシックバレエをやっており、この時は本気でプロのバレリーナを目指していたということだったが、高校入学後に放送部入りしたことがきっかけでアナウンサー志望に転じる[5]。その後、OLとして勤務する傍らアナウンス学院に通う[2]。この頃、友人と組んだアマチュアバンドのボーカルを担当していた[5]。

フリーとしてNHKラジオなどでリポーター活動していた頃に、高級スピーカーを使用した生ライブの司会の営業に行った際、かつて歌手だったメーカーの担当者に「フリーだと仕事が増えないでしょ。事務所を紹介するよ」と声をかけられ、刀根はレコード会社から提示された50万円の給料に目がくらみ、契約書にサインして音楽事務所に所属した[6]。刀根は「レッスンを受けたい」と申し出たものの、担当者から「デモテープを作るから曲を覚えてこい」といわれ、そのままレコーディングを敢行した結果[6]、1984年にテレビアニメ『キャッツ?アイ』のオープニングテーマだった「デリンジャー」で徳間ジャパンのBourbon Recordレーベルからメジャー・デビューを果たす。この経緯から、のちに刀根は「人前で歌うことに抵抗があり、テレビも苦手でしたね」と語っている[6]。

2002年、文京区内にダイニング&ギャラリー「今人」をオープン。
