内閣府特命担当大臣（男女共同参画）（ないかくふとくめいたんとうだいじん だんじょきょうどうさんかく、英語: Minister of State for Gender Equality）は、日本の国務大臣。内閣府特命担当大臣の一つである。
概要

日本の内閣府に置かれる内閣府特命担当大臣の一つで、主として男女共同を参画する行政を所管する国務大臣である。内閣府において関係行政を司る組織としては男女共同参画会議があり、これを事実上担当している。内閣府特命担当大臣のうち、防災担当・沖縄及び北方対策担当・金融担当・消費者及び食品安全担当の4大臣に限っては、内閣府設置法によりこれを必ず設置することになっているが[1][2][3][4]、その他の特命担当大臣に関してはそうした規程がないため、それぞれの政権が取り組む政治課題に応じてその設置・不設置が変わることがある。また担当する特命事項が同等なものであっても、設置される特命担当大臣の名称は内閣によって異なることもある。
沿革

内閣府設置法及び男女共同参画基本法の制定当時、男女共同参画は内閣官房長官が直轄することとされ、ほかに男女共同参画担当の特命担当大臣を置くことは想定されていなかった。男女共同参画会議のメンバーを規定する男女共同参画基本法には、他の「重要政策に関する会議」と異なり、男女共同を担当する特命担当大臣が置かれた場合に関する規定が存在しないことから明らかである。第2次森改造内閣（中央省庁再編後）において、男女共同参画は内閣官房長官が担当した。第1次小泉第2次改造内閣にて「内閣府特命担当大臣（男女共同参画担当）」が設置された。以来、第3次小泉内閣までは設置されていたが、第3次小泉改造内閣では廃止された。内閣府特命担当大臣（男女共同参画担当）の業務は、内閣府特命担当大臣（少子化対策担当）と統合され、新たに「内閣府特命担当大臣（少子化・男女共同参画担当）」が設置された。以来、内閣府特命担当大臣（男女共同参画担当）は設置されなかったが、第1次安倍改造内閣にて再び設置された。
名称

新聞などでは「男女共同参画担当大臣」と表記されることもある。
