内閣府特命担当大臣（地方創生担当）（ないかくふとくめいたんとうだいじん ちほうそうせいたんとう、英語: Minister of State for the Promotion of Overcoming Population Decline and Vitalizing Local Economy in Japan[2]）は、日本の国務大臣。内閣府特命担当大臣のひとつである。地方創生担当大臣と通称される。
概要

日本の内閣府に置かれる内閣府特命担当大臣のひとつである。主として地方創生に関わる行政を所管する国務大臣である。まち・ひと・しごと創生本部（通称：地方創生本部）の副本部長を担う。

旧来は内閣官房に設置されており、内閣府特命担当大臣（地方創生担当）は、内閣府特命担当大臣ではなく、経済再生担当大臣、拉致問題担当大臣等と同じく担当大臣として辞令されていたが[3]、地方創生の重要性と長期性に鑑みて第3次安倍第1次改造内閣より内閣府特命担当大臣（国家戦略特別区域担当）を廃止し、代わって内閣府特命担当大臣として任命されることとなった[4]。
