八木 海莉（やぎ かいり、2002年〈平成14年〉9月5日 - ）は、日本のシンガーソングライター。2021年、キューンミュージックよりメジャーデビュー[2]。
来歴

2002年9月5日生まれ、広島県出身。小学5年生の時にアクターズスクール広島（ASH）のオーディションを受け、合格[3]。中学3年生からギターを独学で始め、翌年に上京。

2018年12月3日、YouTubeチャンネルを開設。主にギターの弾き語りを投稿する。

2021年4月10日、オフィシャルHPを開設[4]。

同年12月18日、配信シングル「Ripe Aster」でキューンミュージックよりメジャーデビュー[5]。2022年3月16日にはメジャーデビューCDシングルとしてリリースされた[6]。

同年4月27日、1作目のEP「水気を謳う」をリリース[7]。

2022年9月4・5日に初めてのワンマンライブ「First One-Man Live-19-」「First One-Man Live-20-」を開催。また、9月4日のライブで八木海莉のファンクラブとなる「STUDIO KAIRI」の開設が発表された。
人物

ASH28期生。

在籍前に少しダンスを習っており、叔母の誘いでアクターズスクール広島のオーディションを受けた[3]。


小さい頃から歌うことが好きで、その当時は西野カナばかり歌っていた[8]。

音楽を志そうと思ったきっかけは、あるオーディションで審査員の前で歌った時に、初めてすごく楽しく歌えたから[8]。 

使用しているギターはマーティン[9]。父の薦めで購入した[9]。

ギターを始めたきっかけは、上京前のアクターズスクールでの最後のライブに出る時に「新しいことを披露したいな」と思って始めたことから[8]。独学で半年ほど練習し、オーディションを受け、ライブで披露したという[9]。 

食べることが好きだが、本人はあまり食べ過ぎないようにしており、その為「いつも食を欲している」ことから、Twitterのプロフィールには「食欲おばけ」と書かれている[8]。

熱帯魚を飼っており、名前は「ガリ」と「しそ」。ガリは初めてのアー写に写っており、しそは初めてのMVお茶でも飲んでに出てきた魚を本人が持ち帰って育てているという[9]。

「海莉」の由来はキングダム ハーツのキャラクター・カイリから[10]。
