佐口 透（さぐち とおる、1916年6月20日 - 2006年11月13日）は、日本の歴史学者。金沢大学名誉教授。東トルキスタンの研究で知られる。 1916年（大正5年）、石川県金沢市[1]に生まれる[2]。 東京帝国大学卒業[2]。戦時期には民族研究所所員として岩村忍とともに敗戦直前の内モンゴルの西北研究所に出向、中国ムスリムの現地調査に従事した。 富山大学助教授、1971年に金沢大学教授。摂南大学教授を歴任。 モンゴル帝国から19世紀までの中央アジア、東トルキスタン、新疆のムスリム、回民を研究した。1964年、『十八-十九世紀東トルキスタン社会史研究』で東京大学より文学博士を取得[3]。
