五條市（ごじょうし）は、奈良県南西部の市。南和地域の中心都市。
地理五條市中心部周辺の空中写真。

吉野川（和歌山県では紀の川）流域に位置し、大和国と紀伊国を結ぶ交通の要衝として、また吉野山地への入口として古来より重視されてきた。

吉野川が市の中央を分断するように西流している。金剛山と吉野連山に囲まれており、市街から少し離れると急坂が多くなる。
