丹羽郡（にわぐん）は、愛知県（尾張国）の郡である。

人口58,423人、面積24.8km²、人口密度2,356人/km²。（2024年4月1日、推計人口）

郡域

1878年（明治11年）に行政区画として発足した当時の郡域は、上記2町のほか、下記の区域にあたる。

一宮市の一部（概ね多加木、丹陽町多加木、森本、丹陽町森本、馬見塚、大赤見、赤見、丹羽、時之島、瀬部より南東[注釈 1]）

犬山市の全域

江南市の大部分（松竹町各町、前飛保町各町、村久野町各町、小杁町各町以北を除く）

岩倉市の全域

歴史
古代

万葉仮名では、｢迩波（には）｣と表記された。郡名は神八井耳命の後裔である爾波県君（にわのあがたのきみ）がこの地を統治したことに由来するという説や、『丹（に）』の一字で｢赤土・粘土｣を意味するという説がある。奈良県明日香村の石神遺跡からは「尓破評佐匹部・ 俵」と書かれた木簡が見つかっており[1]、尓破評が置かれていたことがわかる。その後701年の大宝律令の制定により評は郡となった。927年成立の延喜式には丹羽（には）郡との記載がみられる[2]。

県立丹羽高校は扶桑町と大口町の町境に立地しており、郡名を学校名としている。
