リズ・アーメッド（Riz Ahmed、1982年12月1日 - ）は、イギリスの俳優、ラッパーである[3]。
経歴

1982年12月1日、ウェンブリーにてパキスタン移民の家庭に生まれる[4]。オックスフォード大学を卒業した[5] のち、ロンドン大学セントラル・スクール・オブ・スピーチ・アンド・ドラマで演技を学んだ。

2006年、マイケル・ウィンターボトム監督の『グアンタナモ、僕達が見た真実』で長編映画に初出演。2011年、同監督の恋愛ドラマ映画『トリシュナ』でフリーダ・ピントとともに主演を務める[6]。2012年、「Riz MC」名義でアルバム『Microscope』をリリースする[7]。2014年、ダン・ギルロイ監督のスリラー映画『ナイトクローラー』に出演[8] し、脚光を浴びる。その後も、人気『ジェイソン・ボーン』や『スター・ウォーズ』シリーズといった話題作に出演している。

2016年に放送されたHBOのミニシリーズ『ザ・ナイト・オブ』での演技が高く評価され、翌年のエミー賞で主演男優賞（リミテッドシリーズ・テレビ映画部門）を受賞[9]。アーメッドのエミー賞主演男優賞受賞は、アジア系男性としては初めての受賞となった[10]。

2020年、『サウンド・オブ・メタル ?聞こえるということ?』で主演を務め、イスラム教徒としては史上初のアカデミー主演男優賞ノミネートを獲得した。
