ラグビー南アフリカ共和国代表（ラグビーみなみアフリカきょうわこくだいひょう）は、南アフリカ共和国におけるラグビーユニオンのナショナルチーム。愛称は「スプリングボクス」（Springboks）である。
概要

初のテストマッチは1891年7月30日のブリティッシュ・ライオンズ戦。ユニフォームの胸にある、南アフリカに生息するガゼル属の仲間スプリングボックのマークから、スプリングボクスと呼ばれるようになった。もともと伝統的にラグビー強豪国であったが、アパルトヘイトにより国際社会から制裁を受け、国際舞台から遠ざかっていた。そのためラグビーワールドカップも第1回・第2回は不参加であった。また、スプリングボクスはアパルトヘイトの象徴として見られ、富裕層の白人には人気があったが、貧困層とされるほとんどの黒人に不人気であり、ラグビーよりもサッカーの方が人気があったという。

その後、アパルトヘイトが終わり、国際舞台に復帰することになる。1995年にW杯を自国で開催し初出場、そして初優勝を果たす（初出場初優勝は初回を除き史上唯一）。また、2007年大会で2度目の優勝を、2019年大会で史上最多タイとなる3度目の優勝を果たした。一次リーグではニュージーランド代表に敗れたが、一次リーグで黒星を喫したチームの優勝は史上初である。

ニュージーランド代表（オールブラックス）、オーストラリア代表（ワラビーズ）と開催しているトライネイションズでは1998年、2004年と2009年に優勝。2012年からアルゼンチン代表（ロス・プーマス）が加わりザ・ラグビーチャンピオンシップと改称している。

2015年に入りザ・ラグビーチャンピオンシップでアルゼンチンに史上初めて敗れるなど3戦3敗の最下位に終わった。ラグビーワールドカップ2015でも9月19日のプールBの開幕戦でW杯で過去僅か1勝の日本代表（ブレイブブロッサムズ）に32-34で敗れた（詳細はラグビーワールドカップ2015日本対南アフリカを参照）。なお、AFPはW杯史上最も衝撃的な結果、イギリスのPAスポーツはスポーツ史上最大の番狂わせと報じた[1][2]。2015年W杯は決勝トーナメントの準決勝でオールブラックスに敗れ3位に終わった。

2019年秋に開催されたラグビーワールドカップ2019では一次リーグ初戦のニュージーランドには敗れるもその後は負けることなく、決勝ではイングランドを32-12で破って3大会ぶり3度目の優勝を果たし、オールブラックスの優勝回数に並ぶこととなった。これを受け、世界ランキングは3位から1位へと浮上した。世界ランク1位となるのは2009年11月16日以来10年ぶりのことである。
