本作の主人公。スタイルは良く一見すると美人だがかなりのヘビースモーカーで悪臭。
妹子
ヤニねこの妹で女子高生。常識的な感性を持っており姉に対しては辛辣なこともあるが、基本的には仲良しで姉思い、
ヤクねこ
ヤニねこの後輩。本名は「益子」。違法な薬物に手を出している傾向がある。前科持ちでそれが原因でアルバイトをクビになったこともある。
ハメねこ
ヤニねこの友人でありヤクねことは高校の同級生だった。格闘ゲームに強くハメキャラを愛用している。動画配信者でもある。
カンサイねこ
ヤニねこの友人。本名は「薫子」。関西出身で関西弁を喋る。比較的常識人ではあるがギャグのセンスは残念。
アルねこ
ヤニねこの友人。酒好きのアル中。酔うと徘徊する癖がある。
大家
ヤニねこ達が住むアパートの大家でハゲ頭の男性。ヤニねこに対して厳しく当たることも多いが面倒見は良い。ケモナーで獣人型のダッチワイフを所有している。
静江
ヤニねこと妹子の母親。ヤニねこ同様のヘビースモーカー。
