マーチン・レヴィ・ファン・クレフェルト（Martin Levi van Creveld、1946年3月5日 - ）は、イスラエルの歴史学者・軍事学者。専門は軍事史。

オランダ・ロッテルダム生まれ。1950年イスラエルに移住。ヘブライ大学で学んだ後、ロンドン・スクール・オブ・エコノミクスで博士号取得。ヘブライ大学歴史学部教授。
著書

ファン・クレフェルドは、軍事史、戦略、およびその他のトピックに関する33冊の本の著者であり、その中のCommand in War （1985）、『補給戦――ナポレオンからパットン将軍まで』（佐藤佐三郎訳、原書房, 1980年／中央公論新社［中公文庫］, 2006年）（原著1977、第2版2004）、『戦争の変遷』（石津朋之訳、原書房、2011年）（原著 1991）、The Sword and the Olive（1998）およびThe Rise and Decline of the State（1999）がよく知られている。ファン・クレフェルドは世界中の数えきれないほどの民間と軍の高等教育機関で講義や教育を行っている。
戦争の変遷

特に重要なのは、1991年の著書『戦争の変遷』で、フランス語、ドイツ語（2004年の新ドイツ語版）、ロシア語、スペイン語、日本語に翻訳されている。この軍事理論の論文では、ファン・クレフェルドが「非ー三位一体説」戦争論と呼び、クラウゼヴィッツの著名な 『戦争論』と並置させている理論を展開している。[1]
特権的な性別

ファン・クレフェルドは軍事史に関する本に加え、他の問題に関する本もいくつか執筆している。これらの中で最も目立つのは、おそらく彼の反フェミニスト論であるThe Privileged Sex（2013）だろう。この本の中でファン・クレフェルドは、フェミニストが主張するところの女性が受けている体系的な抑圧というものは、大部分が冷徹なデータに裏付けられていない神話であり、女性は男性よりも社会的保護と特権を享受する傾向があると主張している。[2]
