マシュー・ロビンス（Matthew Robbins、1945年7月15日 - ）は、アメリカの脚本家、映画監督[1]であり、アメリカン・ニューシネマにおける作品でよく知られている。
人物

ジョージ・ルーカス、ギレルモ・デル・トロ、ウォルター・マーチ、スティーヴン・スピルバーグなど、アメリカン・ニューシネマにおける数多くの映画製作者とともに、『続・激突!/カージャック』、『未知との遭遇』、『ジョーズ』などの作品を製作した。また、ギレルモ・デル・トロ監督とは頻繁に仕事をしており、彼の作品である『ミミック』や『クリムゾン・ピーク』の脚本を執筆している。その他には、脚本家のハル・バーウッドと頻繁に仕事をしている。

USCシネマティックアーツスクールに入学する前、ロビンスは1965年にジョンズ・ホプキンズ大学を卒業し、ウォルター・マーチやキャレブ・デシャネルと同級生で友人でもあった。
