ポピュラーメカニクス（Popular Mechanics）は1902年1月11日にヘンリー・ヘイヴン・ウィンザー（英語版）によって創刊された通俗技術誌で、1958年以降はハースト・コーポレーションより発刊される。数十年発刊された後廃刊になったラテンアメリカ版や新しい南アフリカ版を含む9ヶ国でも刊行された。2013年、アメリカ版は年12回刊から年10回刊に変更された。かつて1980年代半ばに一時期、日本語版が刊行されていた。
内容

自動車、家屋、野外活動、科学、技術の記事を特徴とする。深夜番組の司会者にして自動車マニアとして有名なジェイ・レノによる連載コラム「Jey Leno's Garage」（ジェイ・レノのガレージ）が掲載されている[3][4]。
歴史

当初はポピュラーメカニクス社による出版だったが、1958年にハースト・コーポレーションの子会社になった。1905年から2005年のほぼ完全なアーカイブがGoogle ブックスで入手可能である[5][6] 。
ポッドキャストによる配信

ポピュラー・メカニクス・ショーの配信が、ポッドキャストにより毎週行われている。
