フィリップ（フランス語：Philippe Leopold Louis Marie, オランダ語：Filip Leopold Lodewijk Maria、1960年4月15日 - ）は、ベルギーの国王（在位: 2013年7月21日 - ）。アルベール2世とパオラ王妃の長子で、妹にアストリッド王女、弟にロラン王子がいる。
来歴2017年、アントワープにて

はじめイギリスのオックスフォード大学トリニティ・カレッジに留学、その後アメリカのスタンフォード大学大学院に留学した。

帰国後の1980年に空軍中尉に任官した。空挺部隊などに配属された後、1989年に空軍大佐、2001年にはベルギー陸・海・空3軍の少将に昇進した。

1999年12月4日、デュデケム・ダコ伯爵令嬢マティルドと結婚した。

2004年、ベルギー北部のフランデレン地域の独立を目指すフラームス・ベランフを念頭に置いて「一部の政党は、国をばらばらにしたいと考えている。彼らは私を相手にすることになるだろう。私は恐ろしくもなれる。油断はしない」と語り、同党支持者を怒らせたことがある[1]。

2013年7月3日、父アルベール2世は7月21日の建国記念日をもってフィリップ王子に譲位すると表明した[2]。当日、アルベール2世の退位布告への署名の後、フィリップは即位の宣誓を行い、予定通り第7代ベルギー国王に即位した[3]。

用心深く付き合いづらい性格といわれ、言語戦争とも呼ばれる国内の分離独立運動に対しては、寛大で友好的だった父アルベール2世のような政治的手腕を発揮できないのではという指摘もある[1]。アルベール2世が譲位に踏み切った背景には、国王としての年齢的な理由もさることながら、まだ自身の目の黒いうちに政治に関する経験の浅いフィリップに少しでも多くの政治経験を積ませるための配慮があり、2014年に予定されている次の総選挙の1年前というタイミングを選ぶに至ったとみる向きもある[4]。
