ヒュー・グリフィス（Hugh Griffith, 本名: Hugh Emrys Griffith, 1912年5月30日 - 1980年5月14日）は、イギリス・ウェールズ出身の俳優。
人物・来歴

イギリスのウェールズにあるアングルシーに生まれる。スランゲヴニにある地元の高校にて大学入学資格を得ようとするが、英語の試験に落第したため高校卒業後、大学進学を断念し銀行関連の仕事に就き、ロンドンに移り住む[1]。ロンドンで演劇に親しむ機会があり、第二次世界大戦に従軍[1]した後に王立演劇学校で学ぶチャンスを得る。1940年代からイギリス映画に出演しはじめ、1950年代にはハリウッド映画にも出演するようになる。1959年の『ベン・ハー』でアカデミー助演男優賞を受賞した。『トム・ジョーンズの華麗な冒険』でもアカデミー賞にノミネートされた。1980年に故郷にあるバンガー大学から演劇と芸術に対しての功績が認められ名誉学位を贈呈された。同年、心臓発作を起こしロンドンにて死去した。
