ナーダシュ・ペーテル（Nadas Peter , 1942年10月14日 - ）は、ハンガリー・ブダペスト生まれの作家、ジャーナリスト、写真家。 ユダヤ系であり、祖父の代にドイツ語のNeumayerからハンガリー語のNadasに改姓。共産主義者の家庭に生まれたが、父の方針によりキリスト教の洗礼を受ける。1944年、ナチスの傀儡政党・矢十字党がハンガリーを支配すると、両親は2歳のペーテルを連れてブダペストから避難するが、ブダペスト包囲戦の時には帰還し、戦乱を生き延びた。 彼の母親は1956年のハンガリー動乱の前に病死し、父は1958年に自殺した。16歳で孤児となったペーテルは化学を学び、写真家やフォトジャーナリストとして長年働く。チェコのプラハの春にハンガリーが介入したことに失望し、1969年以後、文学活動に専念するため小説家となったが、共産主義政権の出版統制下に置かれた。 共産主義体制下や冷戦後のハンガリーの社会や歴史を背景に、人間の意識の内側を重層的に描き出し、大作『回想の書』（1986）で国際的な評価を確立した。2003年にはフランツ・カフカ賞を受賞した。 この項目は、文人
