タトン (ビルマ語: ????(?????)、MLCTS: sa. htum (mrui.)、ALA-LC翻字法: Sa Thu? (mrui')、ビルマ語発音: [t??t?o?m (mjo?)] タトウン(・ミョウ); モン語: ???? Sadh?m /k?th??m/[1]) は、ミャンマー南部のテナセリム平原にあるモン州の町である。タトンは国道8号線(英語版)沿いに位置し、また国道85号線にも接続している。 ヤンゴンの南東230km、モーラミャインの北70kmに位置する。 少なくとも紀元前4世紀から紀元後11世紀中頃まではタトン王国(英語版)の首都であった。 タトンはモン語 ???? Sadh?m のビルマ語名であるが、これはパーリ語の Sudhammap?ra(??????????)に由来しており、神々の議論の場である Sudharm? にちなんだものである[2]。
