サニーデイ・サービス（Sunny Day Service）は、日本のロックバンド。ボーカル、ギターの曽我部恵一を中心として1992年に結成され、1994年にミニ・アルバム『星空のドライブep』でメジャーデビュー。2000年の解散後、2008年に再結成された。

2015年夏頃から体調不良により音楽活動を休むようになり、2016年2月にバンドを離れて療養に入る[5]。2018年5月、食道静脈瘤破裂により死去。享年47[6]。曽我部は訃報にて、丸山が長年「アルコールの問題」を抱えていた旨を語っている[7]。

略歴1990年
立教大学在学中に曽我部恵一と片山紀夫が、フォークロックバンド「ロックンロール・スター」を結成。
1991年
ロックンロール・スターに田中貴が加入。
1992年
春、「サニーデイ・サービス」結成。名称は曽我部が当時愛聴していたイギリスのバンド「アナザー・サニーデイ（Another Sunny Day）」から。結成当初はダンス・カルチャーとロックが融合したサウンドを指向していた。
1993年
N.G.THREEとのスプリット・シングル「My everlasting happiness (N.G.THREE) ? S.F.COLOUR IS BORN (SUNNY DAY SERVICE)」発売。
8月5日、UNDER FLOWER RECORDS傘下のPUSHBIKE LABELより「COSMO-SPORTS ep」発売。
秋、児玉清が加入。
1994年
2月、下北沢251でのライブイベントで、酔った曽我部と田中がイベントの主催者だったMIDIレコードのディレクター渡邊文武に絡む。渡邊はインディーのオムニバスで名前は見ていたが、なぜかその時の様子を見ただけで漠然と「根拠のない自信」を感じ、この人たちと何かやりたいと思ったという[8]。
2月15日、UNDER FLOWER RECORDS傘下のGIANT ROBOT LABELよりアルバム『SUPER DISCO』発売。
春、MIDIと契約。
7月21日、MIDI傘下のRHYMEよりミニ・アルバム『INTERSTELLAR OVERDRIVE EP』発売。メジャーデビューを果たす。
11月21日、ミニ・アルバム『コズミック・ヒッピー ep』発売（限定7インチアナログ盤11月21日発売）。
