ギグ・ヤング（英: Gig Young、1913年11月4日 - 1978年10月19日）は、アメリカの俳優。本名バイロン・エルズワース・バー（Byron Elsworth Barr）。
来歴

ミネソタ州セントクラウドに生まれ、ワシントンD.C.で育つ[1]。高校在学中から演技に興味を持ち始め、Pasadena Community Playhouseで学ぶ。舞台に立っていたところをスカウトされ、ワーナー・ブラザースと契約する[2]。1969年の『ひとりぼっちの青春』でアカデミー助演男優賞を受賞した[3]。
プライベート

結婚は5回している。1940年にシェイラ・ステイプラーと結婚し、7年後に離婚。1950年にパラマウントのドラマ・コーチだったソフィー・ローゼンスタインと再婚するが、ソフィーの癌が見つかり、結婚2年後に死別。1956年に女優のエリザベス・モンゴメリーと再婚。2人は1963年に離婚したが、原因はヤングのアルコール問題であった[4]。その後すぐに不動産エージェントのエレイン・ウィリアムズと結婚し、1964年に娘ジェニファーが生まれる。このカップルは3年後に離婚し、娘の養育費の支払いに関して法廷で争った[5]。

1978年10月、ドイツ人女性キム・シュミットと結婚した3週間後に2人揃ってマンハッタンの自宅で遺体となって発見された。妻を射殺した後に自ら命を絶ったと見られるが[6]、動機等ははっきりと分かっていない[7]。
