ウェールズ公妃キャサリン（Catherine, Princess of Wales、1982年1月9日 - ）は、イギリスの王族。ウェールズ公ウィリアムの妃（ウェールズ公妃（プリンセス・オブ・ウェールズ））。敬称は妃殿下（Her Royal Highness）。旧名は、キャサリン・エリザベス・ミドルトン（Catherine Elizabeth Middleton）。

「ケイト」はキャサリンの愛称（短縮形）であるが、ウィリアムの恋人としてメディアに取り上げられるまで、家族や友人からケイトと呼ばれたことはなかった[2]。

日本においては主に「キャサリン皇太子妃」もしくは「キャサリン妃」と呼称される。
略歴
生い立ち

1982年1月9日、バークシャー州レディングの王立バークシャー病院で生まれた。父のマイケル・フランシス・ミドルトン（1949年6月23日生）はブリティッシュ・エアウェイズのディスパッチャーとして、母のキャロル・エリザベス・ミドルトン（旧姓：ゴールドスミス、1955年1月31日生）は客室乗務員として勤務していた際に2人は出会い[3]、バッキンガムシャーのドーニー教区教会で1980年6月21日に結婚した。
