1981年、ファーストアルバム『Jazz Funk』をリリース。全英チャート28位を記録する[2]。

1990年初頭、Talkin' Loudレーベル立ち上げに参画。

1991年、シングル「Always There」が全英6位のヒット。UKアシッドジャズシーンで不動の地位に。
