ジェームズ・ニューエル・オスターバーグ・ジュニア（James Newell Osterberg Jr.、1947年4月21日 - ）は、ステージネーム「イギー・ポップ」（Iggy Pop）として知られるアメリカ合衆国出身のロックミュージシャン、ボーカリスト、作曲家、音楽プロデューサー、俳優。過激なステージパフォーマンスで知られた同国のロックバンド「ザ・ストゥージズ」のメンバー。ソロミュージシャンとしても知られ、多くの作品を残している。
ザ・ストゥージズ時代の業績により「ゴッドファーザー・オブ・パンク」とも呼ばれ、後世に大きな影響を与えていると同時に、本人も後輩のミュージシャンたちと積極的に交流し、ガレージロック、パンク・ロック、ハードロック、アート・ロック、ニュー・ウェイヴ、ジャズ、ブルースなど、数々のスタイルを取り入れている。
ザ・ストゥージズ時代の「アイ・ワナ・ビー・ユア・ドッグ（英語版）」「サーチ・アンド・デストロイ（英語版）」、ソロミュージシャンとしては「ラスト・フォー・ライフ (イギー・ポップの曲)（英語版）」「ザ・パッセンジャー (イギー・ポップの曲)（英語版）」などが代表曲として知られており、特にザ・ストゥージズ時代の代表曲は様々なミュージシャンにカバーされている[2]。
2010年、ザ・ストゥージズ名義で『ロックの殿堂』入り[3]。
