イギリス女王エリザベス2世とエディンバラ公フィリップ夫妻の第2子（長女/第1王女）。

王位継承順位は、2023年6月現在ルイーズ・ウィンザーに次いで第17位。

兄はチャールズ3世。弟はヨーク公爵アンドルー、エディンバラ公爵エドワード。
略歴

ロンドンのクラレンス・ハウスで、エディンバラ公爵フィリップと公爵夫人エリザベス王女の長女として生まれ、バッキンガム宮殿において、ヨーク大主教のシリル・ガーベットによって洗礼を施される。代父母には、ルイス・マウントバッテンやアリス・オブ・バッテンバーグなどがいる。
