アリス・クーパー（Alice Cooper、1948年2月4日 - ）は、アメリカ合衆国出身のミュージシャン、シンガーソングライター、俳優。

ロック音楽と演劇的ショーの融合を実践し、1970年代前半にはアメリカにおけるグラムロックの代表格だった。その幻想的、創造的なパフォーマンスは「ショック・ロック」とも形容された。代表曲には「ポイズン」（Poison)「スクールズ・アウト」(School’s out)「アリスは大統領」(Elected)「ノー・モア・ミスター・ナイス・ガイ」(No More Mr. Nice Guy)などがある。

かのシュルレアリスム画家、サルバドール・ダリがアリス・クーパーのショウに出演を懇願し、実現したエピソードも有名。2011年には、『ロックの殿堂』入りを果たしている[5]。
人物若き日の素顔 (1976年)

ミシガン州デトロイト出身、出生名はヴィンセント・デイモン・ファーニア（Vincent Damon Furnier）。アリス・クーパーの名は、若い頃に見た夢に出てきた魔女の名前からとったというエピソードが有名だが、真相は、可愛らしい女の子の名前を付けることで、実際の音楽性とのギャップを狙ったものであると、本人が『プライム・カッツ』のなかで証言している（現在は戸籍上の実名もアリス・クーパーに変えている）。

1970年代初頭にはグラム・ロックのスターだった。「ショック・ロック」を打ち出したことで一部のロッカーに慕われている。1960年代後半にデビュー。「オジー・オズボーン」「エアロスミス」「トーキング・ヘッズ」「ガンズ・アンド・ローゼズ」をはじめ、特にグラムロック、ハードロックのミュージシャンが、アリス・クーパーのファンであることを告白し、アリスのベスト盤特別収録曲ではバッキング・メンバーとして参加している。
