アメリカ合衆国最高裁判所長官（アメリカがっしゅうこくさいこうさいばんしょちょうかん、英: Chief Justice of the United States）は、アメリカ合衆国連邦政府の司法府の長であり、アメリカ合衆国最高裁判所の首席判事（Chief Justice）。初代最高裁判所長官は、ジョン・ジェイである。現職の長官は、ジョン・グローバー・ロバーツ・ジュニア（第17代）である。
最高裁判所長官は、9人の最高裁判所裁判官のうちの1人であり、残る8人は陪席判事（Associate Justice）である。原語名を直訳すると合衆国首席裁判官となり、最高裁のみならず司法府全ての長であることが強調された官名になっている。 最高裁判所長官はアメリカ合衆国における最高位の司法官であり、連邦裁判所のための最高総務責任者
概要
最高裁判所長官は、最高裁判所の業務を主導する。長官は、法廷における口頭弁論を司る。法廷が意見を提出する際には、多くの場合長官が意見の執筆者を決定する。つまり、最高裁判所長官には法廷の会議に対する重要議題設定権がある。大統領の弾劾裁判は過去に2度あったが、その際最高裁判所長官は上院の裁判を司る。近年では、最高裁判所長官も大統領に大統領就任宣誓をさせる儀礼上の義務を負う。
