つのだ☆ひろ（つのだ ひろ 、1949年〈昭和24年〉8月1日 - ）は、日本の歌手、ドラマー、作詞家・作曲家、ラジオパーソナリティ。本名：角田 博民（つのだ ひろたみ）。有限会社角田兄弟社代表取締役。名前の「☆」は発音しない。
経歴

両親の疎開先・福島県東白川郡塙町で生まれる[1]。兄4人と姉3人を持つ8人兄弟の末っ子[1]。生後1歳4ヵ月で東京に戻り[1]、以降は新宿十二社で育った[1]。次兄に漫画家のつのだじろう、末兄(四兄)にリュート奏者のつのだたかしがいる。実家では両親が理髪店を営んでおり、両親は子供たちを食いっぱぐれのない理容師にする教育方針だったが、次兄のつのだじろうが漫画家として売れっ子となったため「食べていける職業ならいい」と方針を変更したという[2]。

中学時代からドラムを始め、高校2年のときにジャズドラムとリズム理論を富樫雅彦に師事。高校3年で鈴木弘とハッピー・キャッツでプロデビューを果たす。卓越したテクニックと日本人離れしたパワフルなドラミングが評判を呼び、1960年代後半からジャズ・ピアニスト佐藤允彦のトリオとの活動を皮切りに、渡辺貞夫カルテット、ジャックス、岡林信康、成毛滋、フライド・エッグ、ストロベリー・パス、五つの赤い風船、赤い鳥、サディスティック・ミカ・バンド、浅川マキ、加藤登紀子、中島みゆき、矢野顕子など、日本を代表するさまざまなミュージシャンたちと共演しドラマーとしての地位を確立する。

また、1971年には歌手として『メリー・ジェーン』をロングヒットさせ、そのソウルフルな歌声で一躍脚光を浴びる。1972年には結成当初のサディスティック・ミカ・バンドに参加したが、短期間で脱退し高橋幸宏が後任となった。同年に「キャプテンひろ&スペースバンド」を結成し、1972年12月24日のテレビ神奈川『ヤング・インパルス』に出演[3]している。

その後も、清水健太郎のヒット曲『失恋レストラン』『帰らない』をはじめ、研ナオコの『風をくらって』、南沙織の『街角のラブソング』、田原俊彦の『騎士道』など、作詞・作曲家としても活動し、さまざまな歌手に楽曲提供も行っている。

各国の著名ミュージシャンと共演するなど幅広い活躍を行うほか、現在はドラムスクールを開催したり、東京都文京区で音楽スクール「WILD MUSIC SCHOOL」「ULTRAC（ウルトラック）」を開設している。
☆について

「つのだ☆ひろ」の「☆」は、語呂が悪かったためと姓名の区切りをわかりやすくするために付けた「・」（中黒）の代わりである。「つのだひろ」では「つ・のだひろ」や「つの・だひろ」などと誤読されることがあったためだが、「☆」を付けた当初は「つのだほしひろ」と誤読されることもあった。現在でも爆笑問題の太田光など、一部のお笑い芸人がボケてわざと「つのだほしひろ」と読むことがある。

元々は「★」付きの「つのだ★ひろ」であったが、塗り潰しは黒星で縁起が良くないということで、白抜きの「☆」に限定された。@media screen{.mw-parser-output .fix-domain{border-bottom:dashed 1px}}「★」付きの「つのだ★ひろ」は誰でも許可なく使うことが本人から許可されている。[要出典]
エピソード

1986年の年間オリコンチャート第1位となった石井明美の『CHA-CHA-CHA』（TBS『男女7人夏物語』」主題歌）のイントロ部分で「Baby, Get on my Cadillac.」のセリフを言っていたのは、つのだ本人である。

母校の小学校、中学校がともに廃校になったという経験をもつ。その縁で、2002年に廃校となった滋賀県の浅井町立浅井東中学校（現：長浜市立浅井中学校））の生徒たちが作った歌詞をまとめあげて自ら作曲し、思い出の歌をプレゼントした。
