あきあかね は、日本のイネの品種名および銘柄名である。農研機構が育成した極良食味・短稈・耐倒伏性の多収米で、晩生の水稲新品種。収穫時期が遅く、赤とんぼが色づく頃に収穫できることから命名。
概要

炊飯食味は、コシヒカリ並みの極良食味。大粒で玄米の外観品質は良。耐倒伏性はやや強い。 葉いもち・穂いもち病の圃場抵抗性は強くない[1][2][3]。
